The mission of the Helping Hands Food Bank is to improve the quality
of life of those individuals and families in need who may not be able
to provide adequate food and necessities for themselves.
On average, we distributed over 16,275 lbs of food, serving 442 families
or 1734 individuals each week last year (a figure which has steadily increased
by about 6% every year we've been in operation).
As a non-profit organization, we network with local food providers and community agencies in order to provide the best
services possible.
We help people achieve self-sufficiency by providing temporary food to
individuals or families regardless of race, age, disability, gender, immigration
status, national origin, sexual orientation or religious belief.
