Volunteering is a rewarding way to "give back to the community".

Here at Helping Hands, we have established an organizational environment that encourages creative leadership, team work, integrity, accountability and excellence for all volunteers. Our staff of trained volunteers contribute all of the labor required to provide daily services.

Approximately 40 regular volunteers put in an average of 1,166 hours monthly in order to keep the food bank operating. Additional volunteers are always welcome (and needed).

We have a diverse group of volunteers with 30 over the age of 55, who are a part of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.). We also have students and community service workers who regularly volunteer their time to keep Helping Hands Food Bank serving those families and individuals in need.

Every individual has something to contribute and we welcome the gift of your time and effort. Your generous contribution makes this community a better place for everyone to live.

A volunteer application is available for download here.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the volunteer application.
